Wheego Electric Cars
Cayman Automotive Leasing is now the exclusive Wheego Life Electric Vehicle (EV) Dealer for The Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Jamaica, the company’s CEO, John Felder, has  announced.  The Wheego all electric vehicle is now available for distribution on all three islands, and is setting its sights at turning the Caribbean green. “I am honoured to be the first authorised Wheego Dealer in the Caribbean,” said Mr Felder
He confirmed that the full line-up of the Caribbean’s first 100 per cent electric trucks and vans will be introduced later this year. He also said that the first lucky 10 customers will receive no-cost charging stations. Cayman Automotive is the first to deliver eco-friendly cars in the region and momentum is growing fast. On 23 June, the company introduced the first solar panel charging stations for EV’s in the Caribbean, which are to be located in George Town, Grand Cayman. Cayman Automotive has also recently introduced the ZENN  and Tazzari sport vehicles, which are 100 per cent electric powered.  Electric Vehicles are now seen as a symbol for creating renewable and sustainable energy worldwide, and represent a turning point in our dependence on fossil fuels. Solar power charging stations for EV’s generate electricity using pollution-free solar cells, thereby reducing the vehicles carbon footprint to zero. Wheego Electric Cars is an innovation-driven and environmentally-conscious manufacturer of Electric Vehicles (EVs). Under the leadership of Mike McQuary, CEO and former MindSpring entrepreneur, Wheego Electric Cars has become a leader in the integration of advanced technology components. Wheego Electric Cars is one of the first EV companies to deliver affordable fully capable, street legal all-electric cars for everyday consumer use. The Wheego line of electric vehicles is emission-free, making them an ideal choice for consumers, fleets and businesses who want to reduce their carbon footprint. Wheego is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and the cars are assembled in Ontario, California.
